Supported Employment services at Project Help is about empowering people with significant disabilities to enter the labor force. Job coaches, coworkers, business supervisors, mentors, Vocational Rehabilitation counselors and employment support specialists are utilized as a way to provide support for persons with disabilities.
It is the goal of our Supported Employment program to support, enhance and educate the general workforce population on the contributing value of people with disabilities. Through personalized integration, support, training and advocacy, Project Help Nevada helps to develop the capabilities and strengths of all people desiring to work. Our mission drives our work to ensure that all people have the right to attain dignity and self-respect not only at home, but in the community and employment sector as well.
Customized Employment is a process designed to personalize the employment relationship. It is a flexible process designed to personalize the employment relationship between a job candidate and employer in a way that meets the needs of both. It is based on identifying the strengths, conditions, and interests of a job candidate through a process of discovery.
The most exciting part of Customized Employment is the process of Discovering Personal Genius. It is not our job to ask "What job would be best for this client?" Our job is to DISCOVER what set's their soul on fire and customize a position that is beneficial to both the client and the employer. We've all heard that old adage, "Do What You Love & The Money Will Follow" and this is just as true for our clientele as it is for us!
